When the unit leaves the factory, it is already programmed with the Pioneer unified remote
control code, so any Pioneer product bearing the fal mark can be operated by the remote
control unit as it is.
@ The LEARN function can memorize commands of other remote control
units you have been using.
By memorizing the commands of other remote control units with the LEARN function, you
can control all the components in your AV system.
@ Equipped with seven extra convenient functions.
1. Using the MLT (Multi) function, you can program up to twenty continuous key operations
into a single key.
2. Information stored in memory can be copied as a block into another function using the
CPY (Copy) function.
3. The NAM (Name) function can be used to change the key name on the liquid crystal
display (LCD).
4. You can call up the remote control codes for products made by twelve companies other
than Pioneer using the OTH (Other) function.
5. The SR function recalls the Pioneer unified remote control code.
6. A key not transmitting a command can be made available by using the ERA (Erase)
function.
7. The CLR (Clear) function returns you to the key commands memorized when the unit
left the factory.
@ If a component doesn't have a certain function or if it has a function that cannot be
operated by remote control, operation with this unit will not be possible even if there
is a specific key for,that function.

@ Avoid high or extreme temperatures
* Don't leave the unit in direct sunlight or near any heating appliances as this may adversely
affect the case or internal parts of the unit. Leaving the unit in hot or dusty places may
damage the unit.
* Dropping the unit or spilling liquid on the keys may result in damage.
* Correct remote control may not be possible if sunlight or strong light from lighting fixtures
falls on the sensor window of a component.
