CABINET TOP REMOVAL

Place the TV set upside down on a soft surface.
Remove four screws as indicated in Figure 1.
Open the Battery Compartment Lid on the rear side of
the TV set by sliding it in the direction as indicated in
Figure 2.
. Take out a Radio Tuning Knob.
. Separate the Cabinet Top from the set.
(NOTE : Be careful of the Rod Antenna, Handle and 2p
Speaker lead socket, when you lift the Cabinet Top.)

Remove the Cabinet Top. (Refer to CABINET TOP
REMOVAL).
Remove two screws as indicated in Figure 3.
Lift the Radio P.C.B. in the direction (A) of the arrow as
indicated in Figure 4.
Remove the 7P socket, 3P socket and the Lead(Green)
from P1, if necessary.
TV P.C.B. REMOVAL
dy Remove the Cabinet Top and Radio P.C.B. by following
the instructions for them.
. Take out four knobs from front of the set.(TV SELECT,
TV-RADIO SELECT, ON-OFF SELECT and VOLUME.)
. Remove two screws as indicated in Figure 4.
. Depress the Back Side of Cabinet Bottom slightly in the
direction (B) and pull it in the direction (C) of the arrow
as indicated in Figure 4. Then the Cabinet Bottom will
be removed.
. Slightly pull the Hook in the direction (D) and take off
the Front Cabinet. (See Figure 5)
. Remove the TV P.C.B. from Chassis Frame.
Use caution not to apply excessive force to the Contrast,
Brightness and Vartical Hold knobs.
