Cleaning

LCD
screen
If fingerprints
or dust make the LCD screen dirty, w_, recommend
using a LCD
Cleaning
Kit (optional)
to clean the LCD screen.
Cleaning
the
video
head
To ensure normal wcording
and clear pictures, clean the vMeo heads.
The video head may b e dirty when:
- mosaic-pattern
noise appears on the playbackpicture.
playback
pictures do notmove.
playback pictures are hardly visible.
- playbackpictures
do not appear.
- the _ indicator

appear one after another
onthescreen.

If the above problenr occurs, clean the video heads with the Sony V8-25CLD cleaning
cassette (optional). Check tlr*,picture and if the above problems
persist, repeat cleaning.
Removing
dust
from
inside
the
viewfinder
(1) _Remove
the screw
with a screwdriver
(not supplied).
_Then,
while
holding
the RELEASE
knob up, _turn
the eyecup
in a counterclockwise
direction
and
pull it out.
(2) Clean
the surface
with
a commercially
available
blower
for a still camera.
(3) Turn
the eyecup
in a clockwise
direction,
then replace
the screw.
Caution
Do not remove any other screws. You may remove only the screw to remove the
_ycvup.
