2.4 How to steam your garment
The garment steamer is easy to use and is perfect for removing wrinkles/
creases from garments and curtains as well as refreshing furnishing fab-
rics.
It can be used on most fabrics as long as the fabric is hanging or where the
garment steamer can be easily used in an upright position moving over the
fabric in an up and down motion.
• The garment steamer is designed to be used in an upright
position on hanging garments. refrain from using the
steamer in or on garments in a horizontal position.
• Check that the back of the fabric is breathable so that
steam doesn't build up on the fabric and make it wet.
• Check your pockets to make sure there are no items in
them.
• Check the back of the garment for objects that are
susceptible to steam damage.
C
• It is recommended not to use hanging ironing machine
around the metal parts of the clothing, because high
temperature steam will cause the metal parts to fade.
• When you turn the gear switch, you will feel the vibration
and hear a subtle buzzing sound which is normal.
• Iron out creases by gently moving fabric creases up and
down with a fabric brush.
• If a fabric brush is not used on the machine, keep the
steam head at least 5 cm away from the cloth.
• If the droning sound becomes louder and there is no
steam spewing out, it means there is no water in the water
tank. Please check the water level of the water tank and
add water to the water tank.
