Auto Image Rotation
Vertical shots can be rotated automatically so that they are displayed
upright during playback.
_,_ Select [Auto rotate].
_ Turn the <O> dial to select [_'1' Auto
rotate], then press < _ >.
_ Select [On].
_ Turn the <O> dial to select [On],
then press <_i_>.
_,_ Take a vertical shot.
_ For the image review right after image
capture, the image will not be
displayed vertically on the LCD
monitor.
4 Playback the image.
_ Press the <r_]> button.
The vertical shot will be displayed
vertically as shown on the left.
_; Auto rotate Will work 0nly if [Auto rotate] has been Set to [On]. Auto
rotate will not work with vertica! images captured while [Auto rotate] was
[Off].
_ If the vertical image is taken while the camera is pointed UP or down, the
image might not rotate automatica!ly for playback_
[_J When you change the camera's orientation between horizontal and vertical,
the camera orientation sensor will make a small sound. This is normal and
not a defect.
