White Balance*

With custom white balance, you shoot a white object that will serve as
the basis for the white balance setting. By selecting this image, you
import its white balance data for the white balance setting.

button.

_ Look at the LCD panel and turn the

dial to select <_P.a>.

Photograph
a white
object.
_r_The plain, white object should fill the
partial metering circle.
_ Set the lens focus mode switch to
<MF>, then focus manually. (p.70)
_ Set any white balance setting. (p.50)
_ Shoot the white object so that a

standard exposure is obtained.

[Custom
WB].
_ Turn the <0>
dial to select [1_1
Custom
WB, then press < _ >.
#_ The custom white balance screen will
appear.

Select
the image.
_ Turn the <_>
dial to select the
image captured in step 3, then press

be imported and the menu will
reappear.
