Installing the Spark Arrester

Procedure
1. Remove and discard the 2 screws (5 mm) and
baffle from the muffler
1. Screw—5 mm (2)
2. Install the spark arrester to the muffler using 2
screws (5 mm) from the kit
1. Screw—5 mm (2)
3. Install the muffler protector to the muffler using
1 screw (6 mm) and 4 screws (5 mm) as shown
in
Figure
2.
4. Install the muffler and gasket onto the cylinder
bolts using 2 nuts (8 mm) as shown in
5. Install the muffler guard using the 4 bolts in
Figure 1
that you removed previously.
