Remove the dividing plate.
After cleaning, slide the dividing plate
back in again.

Lift the cover at the front and pull it

Removing and cleaning the insect
protection grilles
A build-up of dust will increase the
energy consumption of the appliance.
The area in front of the insect
protection grilles should be cleaned on
a regular basis with a brush or vacuum
cleaner (e.g. use the dusting brush for
Miele vacuum cleaners).
Press down the lug in the middle of
the insect protection grille until it
unclips.
Pull out the insect protection grille
towards you.
Remove the second insect protection
grille.
Remove any stubborn soiling with a
damp cloth.
Refit both insect protection grilles
(see "Installation - Fitting the insect
protection grilles supplied").
