1 GENERAL INTRODUCTION

THE PRINTER
How to move the machine to another location
after it has been installed will involve one of two
different circumstances.
In the first case the serviceman lifts the printer
and moves it. in the second case the machine is
moved using a track or transporting device.
The following are the procedures when moving
the machine.
A. When the printer is lifted
up and moved.
1) Press the ROLL/SHEET key and set the path
change plate to "ROLL" mode position.
CAUTION
If the path change plate is in "CUT SHEET"
the mode position , the feeder roller might
be damaged. Always set the path change
plate to "ROLL" mode position.
2)
Press the left or right arrow key to move the
Carriage to the center of the platen.
3)
Open the dust cover and remove the head joint
from the cartridge. Then put the head joint on
the joint stand.
4)
Close the dust cover and turn the power off.
5) Remove the mounting screw and remove the
tube cover.

6)
Remove the four ink supply tubes and the one
connector.

CAUTION
When removing the connector, make sure
that the connector is the side of ink botlle
case.
After the checking that the ink in the tube
Tetum to the buffer section, remove the ink
supply tubes.
7) Insert the pin into the end of the removed ink
supply tube.

CAUTION
The pin might not be extractable if it is fully
inserted into the tube.
