Overview
The PFV-L02 Interface Unit is an apparatus for
interfacing with various kinds of equipment to process
analog and digital video and audio signals.
The unit has two slots to accommodate optional
BKPF-L series boards. When an optional board is
installed in one of the slots, the power is supplied from
the PFV-L02 to the board, and the functions of the
board are activated. Select the appropriate optional
boards and install them in the PFV-L02 to allow the
unit to execute various signal-processing functions.

Features
Multi-power system for high reliability and
mobility
In addition to the AC power input, the PFV-L02 is
equipped with a DC power input to maintain highly
reliable operation. The PFV-L02 automatically
switches to DC power operation if AC power is cut
off. When the AC power is resumed, the unit returns
to AC power operation.
DC-only operation is also possible in places, such as
outdoors, where no AC power is available.
Status indications
Two LED lamps on the front panel notify you of the
operating statuses of the power source and the unit.
Rack mounting
Two PFV-L02 units can be horizontally jointed and
mounted in a standard 19-inch rack.
To mount the units in a rack, the RMM-10 Rack Mount Kit is
necessary. For mounting the RMM-10, consult your Sony
service personnel.
