Basic Operation
Turning the set on
1. Press [OPERATE0/I] on the remote control, or press [OPERATE ©/I] on the front panel.
Selecting the CD function
2. Press [CD] on the front panel.
NOTE: You can select the CD function by pressing [>/ If] on the remote control. In that case, the CD player
starts play immediately.
Loading the Disc Magazine
3. Insert the Disc Magazine into the Magazine slot until it is locked.
NOTES:
« To eject the Disc Magazine, press [EJECT] on the front panel.
* Do not insert 8 cm discs in the Disc Magazine.
Selecting the desired disc to play
4. Repeatedly press [DISC] on the remote control or on the front panel so that the desired disc number blinks
in the display.
Setting the play mode
About the play mode
To play one disc: Select "
" in the display by pressing [P. MODE] on the remote control. The CD player
plays the disc you selected.
To play all the discs: Select "[Ri)" in the display by pressing [P. MODE] on the remote conirol. The CD player
plays from the disc you selected to the disc number 6 continuously.
5. Press [P.MODE] on the remote control to get your desired play mode in the display.
To start play from the first track to the last
6. Press [/Il] on the remote control or [>PLAY/ tl PAUSE] on the front panel.
To halt play temporarily

7. Press [/Il] on the remote control or [BPLAY/ Il PAUSE] on the front panel.
To stop play
8. Press [™ ] on the remote control or [ aSTOP/CLEAR] on the front panel. Then the total number of tracks
(@) and the total playing time (@) of the disc are indicated in the display. The music table (@)) also indicates
each track number.
To play from the desired track to the last track of disc
9. Press the particular track number on the remote control. Or select the desired track by repeatedly pressing
[<@<qj / [1] on the remote control, and then press [P>/ Il].
To get a particular part of a track
10. Press and hold [@<4] / [> 1] on the remote control during play, and the player will start search. The player
will start play when you release the button.
