Setting Recording Audio Mode
Use the menu screen to set the recording audio mode.

the CAM/'OFF/VIDEO switch to CAM.

select the desired
mode:
16BIT: To record audio in
the 16-bit mode.
12B!T: To record audio in the 12-bit mode.
5 Press the MENU button.

\ Set the CAM /OFF /VIDEO switch to CAM.

J button to select "REC.
MODE".

SP: To record in the standard mode;

AUDIO MODE
IP: For extended recording length, of 1.5 times
the SP mode.
Press the MENU button.
Note: if you switch the mode between SP and
LP during recording, noise will appear at pic¬
ture joints and/or sound will be interrupted.
Note: Tapes recorded on this camcorder in the
LP mode may not be normally played back on
other camcorders.
Note: Standard 8 mm tapes cannot be record¬
ed in the LP mode.
