Loading the clothes
Lift the lid on the machine and turn the
drum by hand until the loading door -
appears Ifig. 7).
Fhsh safety lever A (fig. 7) to the right
and press it down until flap door C
(fig. 7) disengages. Fasten drum flap door
B into the special slits F provided for the
purpose, and then place the clothes in
the drum taking care to spread them out
evenly.
Put the sorted clothes into the drum one
by one, shaking them put first
Mteniate large and small items.
Be sure ail pockets are empty, buttons
and zips fastened. Avoid washing frayed
or torn articles, and treat stains such as
paint, ink, rust and grass before washing
(see page 25).
Once the machine is loaded close the
loading door by overlapping flap C on
flap B, making sure that safety lever A
returns to its originai position. Close the
lid and then put the washing powder and
conditioner (if required) into the
dispenser.
Choosing the right washing powder
Always use a low lather powder. This is
important as too much lather prevents
the articles from tumbling freely and
being properly cleansed. Persi!
