480p COLOR
If the output signals from the source connected to the COMPONENT VIDEO input terminals
MATRIX
are in 480p format, the colors in the images from this source will be set to their natural colors.
• SD ........ If the signals are in current TV format (NTSC).
• HD ........ If the signals are 480p video signals.

If watching a normal image, select the "NORMAL".
If the recording mode used for a device such as a digital video camera is "Frame", select the
"Frame" to obtain a higher-quality playback image.
Note:
(1) This can only be changed for VIDEO 1 to 4 and GAME screen input.
(2) If normal playback images are viewed using the "FRAME" setting, sections of movement in
these images may look unnatural. If this happens, select "NORMAL".
If the video signals input to the VIDEO INPUT 1 to 4 terminals or the 480i signals input to the
COMPONENT
VIDEO INPUT 1 to 3 terminals have a screen size identification signal
component, the screen size will change automatically.
• ON ....... When a screen size identification signal is detected, the screen size changes
automatically.
• OFF ...... The screen size does not change automatically.
(If this function does not work correctly, set to "OFF".)
