Select your device that is labeled HP Personal Media
Drive, and then click OK. This name of the drive may
appear as Generic Volume followed by the assigned
drive letter. A Safe to Remove Hardware message
appears in the system tray at the bottom of your
desktop letting you know that your drive is safe to
disconnect.
Changing Disk Allocation
If you experience a Low Disk Space error message, and
you want to change the disk allocation to a higher
percentage for your HP Personal Media Drive:

Open Media Center.

Select Settings, TV, Recorder, and then select
Recorder storage.
Updating Recorded TV List after Removing
the HP Personal Media Drive
If you want to update your Recorded TV list after
removing the drive:

Close Media Center.

Open Media Center.

Click Close.

Disconnect the drive from the HP Digital
Entertainment Center.

Change the disk allocation percentage setting by
selecting the (+) or (–) option.

If this does not update the files, restart the HP Digital
Entertainment Center.
