• It is not possible to play continuously from one side of a double sided disc
to the other. You will need to eject the disc and turn it over.
• When using 8 cm (3") DVD-RAM, remove the disc from the cartridge.

Press OPEN/CLOSE on the unit to open the tray and
insert a disc. (p. 34)
• Press the button again to close the tray.

Press PLAY/×1.3.
• The unit takes some time to read the disc before play starts.

To stop play
Press STOP.

Press STOP again to return to the television screen.
• When "PLAY" flashes on the Front Display, resume function is
active. (See below.)
• The screen saver may appear when you stop play. Press
STOP again and you can use this unit's tuner to watch
television.
To pause play
Press PAUSE.
• Press again to restart play.

• Some items can also be selected using the NUMBER keys.

" appears on the screen, the operation is prohibited by the unit or
disc.
• The operation is different by disc. Please follow the guidance of the
screen.
Starting play from where you stopped
it (Resume Function)

Press STOP during play.
• "PLAY" flashes on the unit's display (Normal play only). The unit
memorizes the position.

Press PLAY/×1.3.
• Play starts from where you stopped it.
To cancel the resume function (Normal play only)
Press STOP while the unit remembers the position. (The position
is also cleared when you turn the unit off.)
