Table 1 1 Fabric OS 6.2.2 closed defects (continued)
Closed defect summary
Numerous Reliable Transport Write and Read errors (RTWR) observed when
going to translate domain. Switch-to-switch NameServer frames are intended
for the LE domain but use any valid F/E-port instead of using the LE port
ID. Frame will be dropped rather than accepted or rejected, which results
in repeated RTWR attempts.
HP StorageWorks Multiprotocol Router Blade heartbeat stops, causing a
reboot while traffic is running over FCIP links. This may cause CP failover,
disrupting traffic only on the router blade.
After blade fault, port was taken offline at asic level, but offline SCN (State
Change Notification) was not sent to routing module, fspfd, fabricd, which
created an inconsistent view between application and kernel on the port
state of the faulted blade. Leads to Switch not ready for F or L
port message with replacement blade.
In a fabric with more than 50 switches, non-disruptive firmware downloads
(HCL) on an HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director fails on the standby CP.
Rolling reboot occurred on HP StorageWorks DC04 SAN director with
multiprotocol extension blade installed when firmware downgraded from
Fabric OS 6.3.x to 6.2.
TI zones become disabled when Telnet times out following TI zone change.
Cfgsave actually pushes the data, but should not do so, as due to session
timeout, stale transaction is not properly terminated before processing new
TI zone, which can result in erroneous TI zone properties list and lead to
other fabric wide instability events.
When FMS mode (FICON Managed Switch) is enabled, then disabled,
hafailover toggles online ports and results in traffic disruption.
The switchstatusshow command in CLI does not show correct status
when a core blade is powered off. It reports Core Blades monitor
HEALTHY.
Loss of an E_Port to a neighboring Mi10k during a zone push operation
caused zoning request to fail with Transaction Commit failed.
Reason code 2 (26) - Aca Was Rejected:Remote Switch
busy, Retry in a few seconds.
Link timeout occurs on switch port connected to any Access Gateway during
hafailover/reboot of AG switch with rlsdisable=0, causing traffic
disruption.
If Fabric Watch fwalarms is turned off and Errlog is turned on, fabric
watch daemon can crash causing a switch panic.
Evmd (Event Monitor Daemon) crash causes switch to assert/reboot several
hours after lscfg --delete when running SMI proxy client or SMI-like
interface, due to timer events being processed in the context of a deleted
logical switch.

problem-causing functions from being
called.
