Storage Volume UNC Name (%storvol_unc_name%). Select or enter the UNC name of the storage
volume that underlies the host volume.
Target Host (%target_host%). Select or enter the name of the enabled host to which the storage volume is
to be presented.

• The Partition/Slice (%component%) value must be 0 (zero).
• The command supports only host volumes with UFS file systems. AdvFS is not supported.
The storage volume is presented to the target host. A new host volume is created using the
specified partition/slice structure. The new host volume is not mounted.

CreateHostVolumeFromDiskDevices

Uses replicated storage volumes to create a new host volume on an enabled host. The replicated storage
volumes must have been presented to the host and a host bus scan performed in prior steps in the job.
Syntax and arguments
When initially inserted into a job, the command syntax and default arguments are:
CreateHostVolumeFromDiskDevices ( %src_hostvol_unc%, %storvol_unc_list%, %target_host% )
Source UNC Host Volume (%src_hostvol_unc%). Select or enter the UNC name of a host volume that has
been previously replicated and presented within the job.
Storage Volume List (%storvol_unc_list%). Select or enter the variable assigned to the previous replication
in the job. See
Target Host (%target_host%). Select or enter the name or IP address of the enabled host on which the
host volume is to be created.
