Using the radio

Tap the channel of the frequency you
want to register.
Storing the strongest broadcast
frequencies
This function automatically assigns frequen-
cies with good reception to the preset chan-
nels in the selected band.
You can update six channels in each band. Up
to 18 channels in the same band can be up-
dated at one time.
p Storing broadcast frequencies may replace
broadcast frequencies you have already
saved.
p The lowest frequency is registered for chan-
nels that could not be registered automati-
cally.

% Tap any frequency on the preset chan-
nel keys.

Using radio text

This tuner can display radio text data trans-
mitted by RBDS stations, such as station infor-
mation, the title of the currently broadcast
song and the name of the artist.
p When no radio text is received, "No Text" is
displayed.

RBDS functions

The functions related to RBDS (Radio Broad-
cast Data System) are available only in areas
with FM stations broadcasting RBDS signals.
Even if this product is receiving an RBDS sta-
tion, not all the functions related with RBDS
will be available.
You can make the settings for the RBDS func-
tion on the optional menu.
Receiving date and time data
You can automatically set the time information
sent from the broadcasting station as the time
on this product. (CT function)

to open the optional menu.

Tap [CT].
Each tap of [CT] changes the setting as fol-
lows:
! OFF (default):
Turns off CT function.
! ON
Turns on CT function.
