7. Verify the operation of the FWD SCSI adapter.

To verify that your system recognizes the FWD SCSI adapter, follow these steps:
a.
Turn on and boot the system, and log in as root or superuser.
b.
In a terminal window, enter the following command:
/etc/ioscan –C scsi
/usr/sbin/ioscan –C ext_bus
After a few moments the ioscan utility lists all of the bus interfaces it could find.
The list appears similar to the following:
For HP–UX 9.x:

If ioscan does not find your FWD SCSI adapter, go to Chapter 3, "Troubleshooting".
