4. Map retrieval methods

Retrieving a map using a memory point

If memory points have been registered in advance (see "Registering memory points" on
page 146), a map can be retrieved using one of these points.
Touch the memory point you want
to display from the list.
● A map of the area around the memory
point will appear.
● See "Performing operations on a
retrieved map" on page 94 for
information regarding the displayed
map.

Retrieving a map using the destination archive

The most recently set destinations (a maximum of 99 points) are automatically registered. A
map for each of these points can easily be retrieved.
Touch the destination you want to
display from the list.
● The map for that destination is
displayed.

● Touch
display the start point map from the
previous route guidance session.

map.
●Your home and quick access points are not registered in the destination archive.
●Refer to the section "Deleting destination archives" on page 170 for deleting
