Recovering the Firmware (For Windows
Incorrect operation and electrostatic discharges may cause damage to the player's firmware. If the player still
fails to turn on after resetting, follow below steps to recover the firmware.
1.
Insert the support disk supplied with the player into the CD-ROM drive.
2.
Click the Firmware Recovery button on the splash screen. (If the splash screen fails to appear
automatically, browse the disk content and double click the stupdaterapp.exe file to run the firmware
recovery program.)
3.
Slide and hold the Power/Hold Switch in the direction of the
compute with a USB cable. Do not release the switch until Initializing appears.
