4. Click Start when Ready appears on the firmware download screen.

If the computer fails to detect the player after a few minutes, reset the player by depressing the reset

opening and try the above steps again.
If Format Data Area is checked, the recovery utility reinstalls the firmware and formats the player.

Otherwise, the utility only reinstall the firmware.

5. Firmware recovery finishes when Complete appears on the Firmware Download screen. Click Close.
