8-16-5. Detail Level Adjustment

Note
Perform this adjustment, if necessary, to suit the custom-
er's preferences.
Preparation
. On the setup menu, set as follows.

. Shoot a grayscale chart in the full underscanned monitor
frame.
Equipment : Waveform monitor
Test point : TEST OUT connector
: 1Lens IRIS
Setting point
Spec. : A = 80 2 IRE (NTSC)
A = 560 14 mV (PAL)
Adjustment Procedure
Equipment : Waveform monitor
Test point : TEST OUT connector
1. On the setup menu, adjust as follows.
PAGE : S16*LEVEL 1
ITEM : DETAIL LVL (Factory setting : 0)
Spec. : Adjust to the detail amount which is added
to each step in the grayscale chart for the
customer's preferences.

A = 700 14 mV (PAL)
. GAIN switch (inside panel)
Adjustment Procedure
Equipment : Waveform monitor
Test point : TEST OUT connector
1. On the setup menu, adjust as follows.

ITEM : K.APT.LVL
Spec. : Adjust the peak-to-peak level of the
noise at the third steps from the top
(portion B) in the grayscale chart, as
desired. (Reference level is 40 mV)
