You can use the supplied remote control to operate
Sony or non-Sony video equipment that has an infrared
remote sensor. For this operation, set the
manufacturer's code number.

-- ENTER
Press the CODE SET, VTR (FUNCTION), and 0 - 9
buttons to enter the manufacturer's code
number (see the chart on page 35-36), then
press ENTER.
For example, to operate a Sony 8 mm VCR0
press CODE SET, VTR (FUNCTION), 3, 0, 2, and
ENTER.
