Outline of the unit

Transfer audio data to the unit before use.

Preparation of the unit:
Insert the alkaline battery (see page 7).
2 Preparation of audio data:
Convert tracks on audio CDs to audio data using Win-
dows Media Player 9 Series or 10 (see pages 12, 13).
For procedures, refer to the Windows Media Player
Users Guide.

Use Windows Media Player 9 Series or 10 to transfer au-
dio data from a PC to the unit.
This operation manual describes how to rip audio data
from audio CDs to a PC and how to transfer the audio
data from the PC to the unit.
For more details, refer to the Windows Media Player Us-
ers Guide.

3 Transferring audio data:
Connect the unit to a PC (see page 11), and transfer
audio data to the unit using Windows Media Player 9
Series or 10 (see pages 15, 16).
