Description
Toshiba's IPedge EP server is an all IP system designed for ease of installation, use and maintenance. It
integrates all the necessary customer centric applications as shown below.

System Configurations
A stand alone system is a individual IPedge server.
An enterprise network system is two or more nodes, at a single site or multiple sites. Each node is an
individual IPedge server. The nodes are connected by a wide area network. Each enterprise network
system has one primary node and one or more member nodes.

The Primary node manages the centralize database, sends commands and directs database backup
and restore functions via this network.
•
The Member nodes are managed by Enterprise Manager in the primary node. This allows centralized
administration and the consolidated, system-wide single page database view. The nodes can be
connected via IPedge Net for call processing transparency.
Note that a member node will continue to process calls if communication with primary node fails.
