BAD LINE REPORTING
The Bad Line Reporting feature lets you report a bad line to system
maintenance. System maintenance prints a bad line report that
includes the following fault logging information:
•
Date.
•
Time.
•
Caller's extension or incoming line identification number.
To report a bad line:
Action
1. Remain on the line and ask
the party to wait.
2. Press Flash.
3. Dial the bad line reporting
code _____ .
4. Press Flash.
5. Tell the party that you will
call them back, or have
them call you back.
NOTE
If you placed the call, you may use the ARS - Manual Advance
feature to call the party back.
Results
You hear recall dial tone.
The party is automatically
placed on hold.
You hear service tone.
You return to the original
connection.
