Contents of Limitation
$ Mac OS
C The DD code is located in the top left corner when choosing landscape printing.
C The LaserWriter 8.4.3 can not customize paper sizes correctly.
Please use the LaserWriter 8.5.1 instead of 8.4.3.
C MSWord may not print correctly in case of mismatching between [Paper size] in the
[Page set up]>[Page Attributes] and [Custom Page Sizes] in the [Page set up] when
using LaserWriter 8.5.1 with Custom size.
C Please select [FaceDown] when using staple function with two(2) bin finisher.
C The Windows font with @ may not print properly when using the application data on
Mac environment.
C Please do not select [N in 1] and [Zoom] at same time. The PostScript error will occur.
C The duplex unit counts as cassette [1]. Please select the [Number of Drawers] as
actual drawers plus one.
C The Customized paper size is only available 100% ratio print.
C Please delete [PFPD*.*] before updating PPD file. The [PFPD*.*] file is located at
[System Folder]>[Preferences]>[Printing Prefs]>[Parsed PPD Folder].
C Please select opposite icon versus actual binding direction when printing landscape
direction with LaserWriter 8.4.3 and 8.5.1.
C The data file format can be set to an application. Please match the format with printer
protocol setting.
C The cover page can not print as Japanese.
C The overlay will print only 100% ratio, when the opposite orientation is selected.

C Please close all applications before changing the printer property setting.
C Please ensure [Collate] function is not checked when Sort, N in 1 and/or Booklet is
selected.
C Non defined character will print out as [?] when using the printer font.
C Please uncheck the [Use printer font] if PostScript error appears with PDF file printing
from Acrobat Reader.
C If character prints with overlapped image, please select the [Always use True type
fonts] in the [Font] tag.
(4) Other limitation
# Setting of face up/face down in the A to Z mode print is only available when inverting
shift tray (FA-TR350) or inverting unit (FA-RU350/RU355).
$ Spool data in the HDD for the printer (option) is deleted by turning off the power switch.
% You cannot spool data to the HDD when the printer is offline
& HDD for the printer (option) is used only for spool.

Mixed orientation document (Portrait and Landscape) cannot be printed correctly.

If the selected paper size with printer driver is not stored in the desired tray,
printer cannot print correctly.

When printing to the Letter/A4 size, set the Landscape.

When the paper runs out in the paper tray, the printer cannot change the paper tray
