Setup Menu
Mains Filter
Select the mains frequency to avoid any interference caused by
fluorescent lighting. A mains frequency of 50 Hz is used across
Europe; in America the mains uses a frequency of 60 Hz.
Format
This function lets you delete all contents from your memory card
and renew the file saving structure on your card (formatting).
Date/Time
Set the date and time (see also page 16 – Setting the Date and
Time).
Compression
The compression determines the file size of your recordings. As a
general rule: The lower the compression, the more storage space is
required. The following settings are available:

28 - English
Warning! All saved videos, pictures and music files
will be erased and cannot be restored. Make sure
that all recordings you want to keep have been
backed-up on a different medium.
Description
Low compression: offers a higher
resolution, but more storage space is
required.
High compression: requires less storage
space, but offers a lower resolution.
