    Reconnecting the Drive Reconnecting the Drive Once you have installed the drivers for the CD Writer Music you can connect or disconnect the drive at any time. Windows will recognize the device and load the drivers. It is not necessary to restart Windows to reconnect your drive.

    This might fix a faulty connection. Disconnect and then reconnect the USB data cable. Run the HP CD-DVD Toolbox (only available in English) to get troubleshooting help. Click the Start button on your taskbar, select Programs, HP CD-Writer Music, and click HP CD-DVD Toolbox.
