Selection and setting
of play functions
Your settings are stored automatically
· Press and hold the SEL / VOL dial

INVOL: Volume when switching on.
· Set the desired volume of the MP3 car radio-
recording by turning the SEL / VOL dial
switching on the radio.
· Press the SEL / VOL dial

ADJ: Time display.
· Set the desired hour setting by turning the SEL /
VOL dial cp clockwise.
· Set the desired minute setting by turning the
SEL / VOL dial cp counter clockwise
· Press the SEL / VOL dial

TAVOL: Tuner volume for traffi c update.
· Set the desired volume for the traffi c update
broadcast from the tuner with the SEL / VOL
dial cp . Please be sure to be able to hear this im-
portant traffi c information at a suffi cient volume.

EON: (ON / OFF): EON function on or off.
· Turn the SEL / VOL dial
reads [EON ON]; the EON function is now acti-

Adjusting volume

· Increase the volume by turning the SEL / VOL
cp
dial clockwise.
· Reduce the volume by turning the SEL / VOL
dial cp counter clockwise.
Mute Function
The Mute function mutes the loudspeakers.
· Tip on the button
DISP
and the display reads [MUTE].
· Tip on the button
DISP
resumes at the volume levels set before activating
the MUTE function and [MUTE] disappears from
the display.
Loudness Function
The Loudness function enables to step up the bass
level in the sound setting.
· Press and hold the
MD/LD

prox. two seconds. The Loudness function is ac-
tivated, the display reads [LOUD ON] and then
[LOUD].
· Press and hold the
MD/LD

for approx. two seconds. The Loudness function
is deactivated and the display reads [LOUD OFF]
and [LOUD] disappears.
