Record Format
After setting of all items in the [Record Format]
menu is complete, select [Set] at the bottom of the
screen to apply the new settings on the camera
recorder and switch the record format. A "Please
Wait..." message appears during switching.
9 System
For selecting a system definition.
HD:
0
Records in "HD" (high definition) quality
SD:
0
Records in "SD" (standard definition) quality
HD+SD:
0
Records in "HD" (high definition) for slot A, and
in "SD" (standard definition) for slot B.
HD+Web:
0
Records in "HD" (high definition) for slot A, and
in low definition for slot B.
[Setting Values: RHD, SD, HD+SD, HD+Web]
Caution :
The selectable options for the [WFormat],

[WResolution], and [WFrame & Bit Rate]
settings vary depending on the setting of this
item.

For selecting the format of the file to be recorded to
the SD card in slot A.
[Setting Values: RQuickTime(MPEG2),
MP4(MPEG2), MXF(MPEG2), AVCHD]
Memo :
When System is set to "HD" or "SD", the

recording file format will be the same for both SD
cards in slots A and B.
When System is set to "SD", this item is fixed at

"QuickTime(H.264)".
9 W Resolution
For selecting the image size to be recorded to the
SD card in slot A. (Horizontal x vertical)
The available options vary according to the
[WFormat] and [System] settings.
When MP4(MPEG2) or QuickTime(MPEG2) is

[Setting Values: R1920x1080, 1440x1080,
1280x720]
When QuickTime(H.264) is selected:

Fixed at "1920x1080"
When MXF(MPEG2) or AVCHD is selected:
