Thank you for purchasing HUAWEI WiMAX USB Stick. Before you begin Check the following items in the product package. If you find anything missing or damaged, contact the service provider. USB Stick Quick Start Getting to Know Your USB Stick The supported functions and actual appearance are subject to your product purchased. -

Indicator Green Amber Description Blink The USB Stick is initializing. The USB Stick has not accessed the network. The network has no signal strength. The USB Stick accesses the network normally; however, no data is being transmitted. Blink Data is being transmitted. Requirements for the PC Your PC must meet the following configuration requirements for using the USB Stick. -

During lightning storms, stop using the external antenna and disconnect it from the USB Stick. To connect the external antenna to your USB Stick, do as follows: Power off the USB Stick. Push the cover of the antenna interface and then connect the external antenna to the interface. - Page 10 Installing the Management Program Power on the PC. Connect the USB Stick to the PC. The OS displays a message that new hardware is found and prompts you to install the management program. Install the management program according to the on-screen instructions. When you finish installing the management program, the shortcut icon of the management program appears in the notification area.

Click Change/Remove Programs. Find the management program. Click Change/Remove. Uninstall the management program according to the on-screen instructions. Disconnecting the USB Stick is not displayed in the notification area, do as follows: Exit the management program. Disconnect the USB Stick from the PC. is displayed in the notification area, do as follows: Double-click in the notification area. - Page 12 Click Connect. Then the USB Stick tries to connect to the network. When the connection is established, the icons indicating a successful network connection and the signal strength are displayed at the bottom of the management program interface. Disconnecting Network When you do not use the Internet, you can disconnect the USB Stick from the network manually.

Troubleshooting When the USB Stick is connected to the PC for the first time, the system does not prompt you to install the Management Program. After the system recognizes the new hardware, you need to wait a few minutes for the system to prepare for the installation of the program. - Page 14 Disconnect the USB Stick from the PC, and then connect the USB Stick to the PC again. Install the management program according to the on-screen instructions. Remove the USB Stick safely and restart the PC. Then connect the USB Stick to the PC again.
