Troubleshooting

Check these questions first if you have problems with your handset:

Is your battery
charged? Do

Is the other
party unable to
hear you?
Answer
The battery level indicator should
have at least one segment showing

). If it does not, recharge your

battery. See pages 19 and 19.
If necessary, turn off your handset
and make sure that you have inserted
a valid SIM card (see page 16).
The signal strength indicator should
have at least one segment showing

). If it does not, move to an area

with a stronger signal to use your
handset.
While on a call, press the top of the

key.
Your handset may be muted. Press
(
) if necessary to unmute

UNMUTE
the handset.
Also, make sure that your handset's
microphone is not blocked by its
carrying case or a sticker.
