Use the front panel buttons to copy and fax documents or photos, and to change
a variety of copy and fax settings.
Review the illustration below and identify the location of the buttons on the front
panel.

One-touch speed-dial buttons: Enter and label speed-dial numbers for quick
access.

Auto Answer light: If lit, automatic answering is on.

Auto Answer button: Turn automatic answering for HP Fax on or off.

Speed Dial button: Access speed-dial numbers.

Redial/Pause button: Dial the last number again, or insert a pause in a number
to be dialed.

Keypad: Dial fax numbers or enter text.

Star/Symbols key: Enter punctuation characters or use as directed in voice mail.

Pound/Space key: Enter spaces or use as directed in voice mail.

Fax button: Press to begin the faxing process.

Start, Black button: Start a black-and-white fax or copy.

Scan & Fax button: Press to scan originals into memory before faxing.

Start, Color button: Start a color fax or copy.

Copy button: Press to begin the copy process.
