Connecting to your PC

In order to record using the Video Grabber you must first install the software. If
you haven't already done so, go to the chapter entitled 'Installing the software'
and follow the instructions.
 Connect the adapter (5) to the Video Grabber (1) as shown in the earlier
illustration.
 Attach the video output of your source (e.g. camcorder) to the Video
Grabber. Now you have the choice of the following types of connection:
Composite Video Signal
 Connect one end of the Audio/Video cable (4) (yellow, red and white
connectors at both ends) with the video input (yellow) and the audio
input (red and white) of the connection adapter.
 Connect the other end of the Audio/Video cable (4) with a free video
output (normally a yellow socket) and a free audio output (normally a red
and white socket) of your source.
S-Video-Signal
 Connect one end of the S-Video cable (3) (same plug on both cable
ends) with the S-Video input (black) of the connection adapter.
 Connect the other side of the S-Video cable (3) to a free S-Video output
of your source.
Scart Adapter
When your source does not have a Video or S-Video output, you can use
the enclosed Scart Adapter (2).
 Connect either the S-Video cable (3) (same plug on both cable ends) or
the Audio/Video cable (4) (yellow, red and white plug on both cable
ends) to the Scart Adapter.
 Plug the Scart Adapter into a free Scart socket of your source.
