Configuring the PC interface

Your handset can communicate with a computer.
Configuration
To complete configuration, you must:
• use a Siemens data cable to connect the headset/PC interface jack on
the handset to the computer.
• install the "Siemens Data Suite" application. For more information, con-
sult your system administrator.
Possible action
You can use the computer to perform the following action at the handset:
Read parameters:
• Software version
• Type
• Vendor code
Read and edit parameters:
• Ringer settings
• Volume settings
Read and edit lists:
• Phonebook
• E-mail directory
• Call-by-call list
• Appointments list
• Redial list
Additional actions:
• Load the screensaver
• Load melodies
• Conduct and accept calls
Possible cause
Phone number was not
fully entered, the Star
or Hash key was not
pressed.
