Standard Service Plan
Dell ™ PowerConnect ™ managed switches come with
1-year next business day response 1 .
Technical Support
All systems are supplied with 30 days' getting started
configuration assistance and 24-hour online support at
support.euro.dell.com. Telephone technical support is
available during local business hours.
Upgrades include:
• Premier Enterprise Bronze Support – three years'
next business day response
• Three years' service with 4-hour response
12 hours a day, 5 days a week
• Premier Enterprise Silver Support – three years' 24x7
service with 4-hour response 1 , and software and
storage support resolutions
Installation Services
Dell offers on-site installation of all
PowerConnect switches.
• Standard Installation provides installation of the
PowerConnect switch, including installation into a
Dell-supported rack (if required), connecting cables
between the switch and attached servers and
clients, and testing for proper connectivity
• Advanced Installation provides installation of the
PowerConnect switch, as described above, plus
advanced configuration of managed switches,
including all features outlined in the User Guide
(Password protection, System Manager, Port
Manager, Address Manager, Spanning Tree, VLAN
and Class of Service Setup, Port Trunking, Port
Mirroring, SNMP, Multimedia Support, and
Statistics). Customers must provide detailed
configuration requirements prior to installation
