(7) AF Level Indicator/AF Indicator Check
Procedure

The checking procedures describe that the URX-M2 (to be
adjusted) is installed into the Tuner [1] slot on the MB-X6 or
MB-806.
1. Set the URX-M2 and MB-X6/MB-806 as follows :
. URX-M2 Front panel (Tuner [1])
Channel setting :
U30 model ; Group 03, 32-01 channel (578.125 MHz)
U42 model ; Group 03, 44-01 channel (650.125 MHz)
CE62 model ; Group 04, 63-32 channel (810.000 MHz)
CE67 model ; Group 04, 68-32 channel (850.000 MHz)
KR model ; Group 12, 60-01 channel (746.125 MHz)
RF Squelch : OFF (For setting, refer to "Setting the
Squelch OFF mode" on page 2-29)
. MB-X6/MB-806 Rear panel
ATT (ANTENNA A, B) switch :0 dB
2. Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA A IN
connector with DC fixture.
3. Set the signal generator as follows :

FREQUENCY (carrier frequency) :
U30 model ; 578.125 MHz
U42 model ; 650.125 MHz
CE62 model ; 810.000 MHz
CE67 model ; 850.000 MHz
KR model ; 746.125 MHz
RF OUTPUT (Output level) : 60 dBuV
MODULATION (Modulation frequency) :1 kHz
4. Increase gradually DEVIATION (frequency deviation)
of the signal generator starting from ± 3 kHz, and check
that the deviation of the signal generator is ± (5.0 ± 1.0)
kHz with the AF indicator as follows.

AF level indicator (LCD);
Lights.
Less than AF level indicator (LCD);

5. Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA B IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
6. Perform the procedures 3 to 4 above.

(8) Tone Squelch Check
Procedure

The checking procedures describe that the URX-M2 (to be
adjusted) is installed into the Tuner [1] slot on the MB-X6 or
MB-806.
1. Set the URX-M2 and MB-X6/MB-806 as follows :
. URX-M2 Front panel (Tuner [1])
. MB-X6/MB-806 Rear panel
2. Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA A IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
3. Set the signal generator as follows :

FREQUENCY (carrier frequency) :
RF OUTPUT (Output level) : 60 dBuV
MODULATION (Modulation frequency) : 32.000 kHz
DEVIATION (Frequency deviation)
(= _53 dBm)

32.000 kHz modulation frequency must be set by using
the function generator.
4. Turn on and off the MODULATION (modulation fre-
quency) of the signal generator as follows, and the LCD
indicator (Tuner [1]) changes also as follows.

5. Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA B IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
6. Perform the procedures 3 to 4 above.
