3 Grating Adjustment
Step No. Operation Keys and Operation Method
1 Short circuit MECH TEST MODE during the power
ON, or press the ESC key.
(Service remote control unit)(Fig.1)
2 Insert the test disc GGF1328 (MMD-212).
3 Press the PLAY key.
4 Connect an oscilloscope according to the following
connection diagram and loosen the screw A at the side
of the adjustment hole. Turn the hole with a screwdriver
until the Lissajous waveform becomes as shown in the
figure, and then tighten the screw A.
5 Press the STOP key.

3 Press the ASES key (until RST YOBI is displayed).
4 Press the PLAY key.
5 Press the ASES key several times and display
the GTG (GROOV TRACKING GAIN) value.
6 Use the F.SKIP key (UP) and the R.SKIP key (DOWN)
to adjust the value of
