Server Connection Guide (iSCSI) for Oracle Solaris
Enable CHAP authentication.
Enable CHAP authentication on the Initiator.
# iscsiadm modify initiator-node --authentication CHAP
Check that CHAP is enabled on the Initiator.
Use the "initiator-node" option.
# iscsiadm list initiator-node
Initiator node name: iqn.1986-03.com.sun:01:00144f565a49.47677520
Initiator node alias: -
Login Parameters (Default/Configured):
Header Digest: NONE/-
Data Digest: NONE/-
Authentication Type: CHAP
CHAP Name: initiator

Check that CHAP is enabled on the Target.
Use the "target-param" option.
# iscsiadm list target-param -v
Target: iqn.2000-09.com.fujitsu:storage-system.e2000:00001001-cm1
Alias: dxlcm1port1
Bi-directional Authentication: disabled
Authentication Type: CHAP
CHAP Name: iqn.2000-09.com.fujitsu:storage-system.e2000:00001001-cm1

#iscsiadm modify target-param -a CHAP iqn.2000-09.com.fujitsu:storage-system.e2000:00001001-cm0
#iscsiadm modify target-param -a CHAP iqn.2000-09.com.fujitsu:storage-system.e2000:00001001-cm1
