Hiding Hints and Tips

Hints and tips are normally shown when you choose FUNC.
MENU (= 26) items. If you prefer, you can deactivate this information.

Choose [Hints & Tips], and then choose
[Off].

Screen Brightness

(= 25) or Adjust screen brightness as follows.
Increasing Screen Brightness
Screen brightness can be increased to a level even brighter than the
highest level in [LCD Brightness].
•
Activating [Sunlight LCD] mode overrides the [LCD Brightness] setting.
•
You can also access [Sunlight LCD] mode by holding the <p> button for at
least one second when the shooting screen is displayed or when in single-
image display. To restore the original brightness, press and hold the <p>
button again for at least one second.

Choose [LCD Brightness], and then
press the <q><r> buttons to adjust the
brightness.

Choose [Sunlight LCD], and then choose
[On].
