3.2.1 Configuring Basic Security

For testing basic connectivity, there is no reason to configure a server supported authentication
scheme. WEP 128 is described in this guide as a basic security scheme sufficient to protect the
access point's initial transmissions. For details on configuring more sophisticated authentication and
encryption options available to the access point, refer to the AP-7131 Series Product Reference

To configure WEP 128:
