• Sled motor operation failure.
Is slide feed signal output between the pin 26 (FUSO), 27
(FMSM) of IC801 and the pin 15 of IC804 when FF/REW is
pressed after the servo test mode "STEP1" is SET?
Is slide feed signal output between the pins 12 and 13 of IC804?
Is slide feed voltage applied between both terminals of sled
motor?
Check the CD mechanism (periphery of Slide mechanism).
If the sled motor does not run when DC2.0V is applied at both
ends, the sled motor is faulty.
• Slide servo operation failure.
Is the following waveform input to the pin 28 (FMSD) of IC801
during playback?
Is the following waveform output at the pin 26 (FMSO) of IC801?
The slide servo system is not faulty. Redo check.

Check the pattern between pin 27 of IC801 and pin 36 of IC802.

Check the connection of peripheral parts of IC801.
If OK, IC801 is faulty.

Check CNW803.

Check the periphery of pin 28 (FMSP) and pin 30 (TS20) of IC801.
