    Use a power strip whose manufacturer offers a Damage Replacement Policy so you can replace the equipment, if surge protection fails. Use the appropriate and correctly sized furniture designed to properly support your HP LCD display. WARNING! LCD displays that are inappropriately situated on dressers, bookcases, shelves, desks, speakers, chests, or carts may fall over and cause personal injury.

    Remove the six screws (1), display stand (2) and cable management clip (3) from the box. NOTE: The LD4200tm stand uses six M4 x 12mm screws. Use the cable management clip to secure and hide cables from the front view of the display.

    Connecting to External Devices Connecting to the Computer Be sure the display, media player/computer and all attached devices are turned off. Connect the signal input cable: For analog operation, connect the VGA (D-sub) signal cable to the RGB IN (1) connector on the rear of the display and the other end to the VGA connector (2) on the media player/ computer.

    This product supports a VESA FDMI compliant mounting interface. On the rear of the display are four VESA mounting holes that allow you to install a mounting device to the display. The mounting devices are purchased separately from HP. Refer to the instructions included with the mount for additional information.

    Connecting Video Input Connect the video cable (sold separately) as shown in the following illustration, and then connect the power cable. When connecting with a BNC cable (1), connect the input terminal to the display and VCR/ DVD receiver. When connecting with an S-Video cable (2), connect the S-Video input terminal to the display and VCR/DVD receiver to watch high image quality movies.
