Inputting Characters

About Inputting Characters

It is necessary to input characters when saving an entry to the Address
Book, or creating an E-mail, for instance. Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana,
English, numbers, pictograms, emoticons, symbols, and phrases can be
inputted.
Changing the Character Input Mode
Pressing
in a text input screen displays a list of character input mode.

Full-sized and uppercase English mode
Half-sized and uppercase English mode
Pictograms mode

to select an input mode and press
¡Press
[Switch] to select an input mode and press
¡Press a dial key that corresponds with a number in a list of input mode.
* Some characters cannot be inputted in a text input screen, depending on the function.
The current input mode is displayed at the lower left of the screen while inputting characters.
