List
To watch recorded programs, go to the Now Playing list in the TiVo Central screen.
Highlight the program you want to watch and press SELECT or PLAY. Every program
is listed by name (no more searching through unlabeled videotapesl). When you
SELECT or PLAYa program, it win start from the beginning. If you stop watching a
recorded program partway through (for example, to watch live TV), you can come
back and pick up where you stopped watching. Just press PLAY from the Now Playing
list. You can also skip to the end (by pressing ADVANCE) or beginning ofa recorded
program (by pressing ADVANCE a second time). This is much quicker than rewinding
the program.
The first programs listed on the Now Playing list are the ones that you have
specifically recorded. These programs are arranged with the most recently recorded
programs appearing higher on the list.
The Now Playing list may also contain programs from TiVots Suggestions list.
which is based on your Thumbs UplThumbs Down preferences and the programs you
have recorded in the past. Your Recorder always tries to give you the maximum
amount of quality programming for you to watch. Whenever there is empty space
available, programs from TiVots Suggestions list are recorded until it is filled to
capacity. TiVot s Suggestions programs appear after all of the specifically requested
programs, and are marked with the TiVo icon, with the most recently recorded
appearing the higher on the list.
Colored icons indicate how long programs will remain on the Now Playing List. Once
a program appears on the Now Playing List screen, you can decide how long you
would like to keep it.
