How to record (deck B only)

Since this unit is not designed for use with metal tapes,
recording on metal tapes cannot be carried out.

Preparation
Insert a tape in deck B.

Set up the cassette deck.
1 Select the Dolby NR mode.

1 Play a music source.

beginning.

Press to record with the DOLBY NR.
1 Dolby NR on
2 Dolby NR off
÷ Each press switches the indication.
1 "[" :Double-side recording which stops tape after having
recorded both sides.
2 """ :Recording stops after having recorded both sides.
3 """ :One-way recording which stops tape after having re-
corded a single side.
÷ While pressing the PAUSEkey,
press the REC/ARM key.
÷ Adjust so that seg-
ments around the 0 dB
segment of the peak
level meter light up at
times.
÷ Recording will start.
÷ The deck enters the stop mode automatically when the tape has
been recorded till the end. (CT-401/KXF-W1030)
