Conditioning the milk valve

To ensure the milk used to prepare
drinks is always of the highest quality,
the milk valve should be conditioned
once a week.
^ Touch "Main menu" or the # sensor.
^ Touch "Maintenance" y.
^ Touch "Clean the central spout".
The central spout and the milk valve will
move into the maintenance position.
Before confirming "Leave
maintenance position" with OK, you
must remove the cleaning brush.
Otherwise the coffee machine will
be damaged.
^ Insert the brush in the milk valve and
move it back and forth.
^ Touch OK.
The milk valve will move into the initial
position and the milk pipework will be
rinsed.

Sensor cover

The sensor cover for the cup protection
switch-off is located at the base of the
central spout. If the automatic spout
adjustment sensors do not properly
recognise a cup, the cup protection
switch-off will stop the central spout
from lowering.
The sensor cover must be cleaned by
hand only using warm water and a little
washing-up liquid.
^ To remove the sensor cover, press
and hold the cover a between the
two dispensing spouts. Then press
the sides of the central spout at the
back.
The sensor cover will come off.
^ To refit, insert the two hooks at the
back and push up the sensor cover
until it engages.
